Mediation & community support (Macs)
We are an independent, voluntary organisation that provide Conflict Transformation Techniques through Mediation and Conflict Coaching when people are experiencing neighbour, family and workplace disputes.
We are also highly experienced in delivering training to facilitate constructive dispute resolution.
Our team of trained, Conflict Transformation Practitioners have experience in dealing with a wide variety of cases, enabling people to find workable solutions in difficult situations. Conflict Coaching and Mediation are positive conflict resolution tools and are widely commissioned by public and private sector organisations.
We work with schools, youth organisations, churches and groups, providing training and workshops to develop skills in constructive conflict resolution.
A brief history
Mediation And Community Support started in 1999 and has grown from a from a small, locally focused volunteer group into an incorporated Company Limited by Guarantee with Registered Charity Status providing a broad range of mediation services and training across Coventry and Warwickshire.
Volunteers are recruited from across the county to be trained and supported in their work on cases within their local communities. Working relationships have been formed with other statutory and voluntary agencies ensuring appropriate and timely referrals to MACS and constructive collaboration on issues of joint interest.
